The VFW Ladies Auxiliary is looking for some favorite recipes.

The group is putting together a cookbook as a fundraiser for the Auxiliary and is asking anyone interested to share a recipe for publication.

“Many ladies have such wonderful recipes. We’d like to get them all in book form,” said Ladies Auxiliary president, Joanne McDaniel. “We’re encouraging men to participate, too. We have some pretty good male cooks.”

The group decided to produce a cookbook because so many in the group enjoy them.

“It’s just a personal love of mine and other ladies in the Auxiliary,” McDaniel said. “I could spend a whole afternoon reading cookbooks.”

The group is hoping to collect a minimum of 100 recipes. They plan to produce the cookbook this year.
