The Central Whidbey Sportsman’s Association is holding its annual Women’s Firearm Safety Class on Sat., April 30.
The class is part of CWSA’s ongoing firearms safety program, and will cover safety, proper handling and safe storage of a firearm.
There will also be a section on the law and firearms. Firing range instruction is also included.
All instruction is provided by retired Island County Sheriff’s Department detectives.
Participants should bring their own handgun, ammunition and eye and ear protection. CWSA will provide all equipment to use during the class free of charge for those who don’t have it.
The class is free and open to all women.Pre-registration is not required.
The CWSA clubhouse and range is located 2.5 miles south of Coupeville on Safari Street.
