Sunday morning my grandson and I went to the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival. We didn’t stay long but we did the shopping we had planned and left about 11 a.m. On Monday morning I emptied my “fanny pack” from Sunday back into my regular purse. Much to my surprise I was missing a small navy blue coin purse with my money. I have had this little purse for over 30 years.
I was very upset. So I called the last vendor that I had bought an item from and she said she had not seen my purse. So my husband called the Coupeville Police Department and they said that no one had turned in such an item. I then left a message on the Arts Festival phone machine.
Well, to get to the good part of my story on Tuesday morning the phone rang and it was the Coupeville police asking if I had lost anything. Some kind, honest person had turned in my coin purse with all the money in it. I have no way of thanking the person so I have chosen the paper. Thank you so much you really made me feel like we are a small part of this upset world that still cares about each other. Also thank you to the wonderful Coupeville Police Department for helping me.
