Antidotes to ‘fair and balanced’

It would be interesting to have a real debate about the merits of health care reform, but that is unlikely because of the posturing and bleating that occurs.

I’d suggest as a starting point the Constitution to wit in the preamble it states “… promote the general welfare” and in Section 8 (Powers of Congress) “… provide for common defense and general welfare.”

Is it possible that this could mean our health? As an antidote to “fair and balanced” news, which is neither, check on KPTK 1090AM for views that are, dare we say, different? Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Ed Schultz, Ron Reagan and Mike Malloy are very different than the Limbaugh, Beck, Savage crowd.

Try it, you might like it.
