One of your readers left comments online after the article “Navy acknowledges climate change threat,” that demonstrate a lack of knowledge of basic climate science, yet his name is linked with  the University of Washington.

Really?

Denial of global warming flies in the face of volumes of evidence gathered from billions of measurements around the world and its atmosphere by the scientists with the Climate Impacts Group at the University of Washington who have done an extraordinary job of reporting the damages and dangers of global warming and ocean acidification caused in large part by our overuse of fossil fuels.
