On the July 6 a candidate forum was held. It was sponsored by the Whidbey Island Tea Party. Most of the candidates running for local and state offices attended. There was some lively discussion along with thoughtful answers provided by those wishing to be our representatives in public service.

With an election coming up in November and primaries in August, it is our responsibility as citizens to be educated about the issues and the candidates. Attend the forums, become involved and remember this is our country and we have a voice in what happens to the United States. Power comes with the vote. Be there!
