Editor,
Joseph Whidbey State Park has a posted announcement at the entrance requesting visitors to answer a survey on their experience at the state parks website.
I tried to do that; however, every park in the state is listed except Joseph Whidbey. Maybe the state doesn’t want to own up to the mess at the park?
Walking the trail is like an obstacle course in avoiding burning nettles, thistles, blackberry bushes, etc. Someone finally installed a new board on the bridge, but the rest of it is still falling apart.
This is asking for someone to get seriously hurt.
When will the state finally acknowledge this park and do something to make it user friendly?
