Flushing our dollars away

Bravo to Linda Haddon for her stand on the Steilacoom II ferry (News-Times, April 23). It seems that no one in the state government can hear what anyone is saying about that boat. If you have a boat that has to cancel trips constantly, what good is it. Might as well just flush the dollars for the Steilacoom II down the toilet or use them for green compost.
