We should be thankful that we have such a great facility, staffed by such wonderful, caring, professional people in our community. I recently had the misfortune to have spent 2 1/2 weeks at Whidbey General Hospital, including a major surgery. I have spent quite a bit of time in various hospitals in the past but have never received such TLC as I did at Whidbey General.

The staff is very loving and caring and went out of their way to make myself, my family and my hearing dog, Sammy, comfortable and welcome. I want to extend my thanks and heart felt gratitude to everyone concerned right from the surgery staff to the cleaning crew. You are all fantastic and there is no doubt in my mind that your care was pivotal in my recovery.
