How do you know for whom to vote? This is the question my 10-year-old put to me as we passed various political signs on the highway. Experience and leadership qualities were my responses. Citizens and voters of our great state deserve nothing less. Emotions and political commitment tend to cloud our common sense. Good intentions and feel-good votes end up costing us state budget woes, educational disarray and public safety concerns. Whether running a business, a school, or a state, our leaders need to be chosen by their proven experience and reputation.
