The year 2009 is gone and much of the first month in 2010 is behind us now. But as the fundraiser coordinator of Hope For The Holidays, I’m still working on completing my tasks to close out 2009’s Christmas fundraiser. We only do two fundraisers a year, Christmas and Easter, and so far we only sponsor families that are CADA’s clients.
I knew this year would be tough with the economy in the state it is in but as I put together final figures and my list for sending thank you notes, I have an awesome sense of gratitude for the family, friends, businesses and community members that made this year very successful. So I’d like to thank you all for your donations, support and hard work: All of you that have helped in some way since we started this in 2004 and all of you that have joined in since then.
I especially want to thank the following businesses whose help really makes this fundraiser soar. Albertsons, Be-Dazzled Salon, Costco, Equality Plating Co., Dickinson Farms, Acorn Dental, Merrill’s Cleaning, Bicycles Northwest and a special thanks to painter, Perry Scott Woodfin for donating a print for our drawing. Lastly to all the individuals too numerous to list. May you all have as great of a year in 2010 as you made our Christmas fundraiser in 2009.
