Writing is one of my least favorite things to do. But I really do want Proposition 1 to pass. Here’s my input.

Part of my easement strip on Fort Nugent is just too steep for me to mow.

Yesterday the county came past and in 90 seconds man and machine did the job. It not only looks good, but also improves visability for drivers and walkers.

Services like this will be gone if Proposition 1 fails. I will gladly pay the extra $40 a year to keep such amenities. It’s what makes Whidbey Island so livable.
