I saw my Letter to the Editor (July 16, Flyer is a tip that resident isn’t home) online today. Within 15 minutes, I had a personal visit from Marc Henneman, apologizing for the flyer in the door.

Thank you, Mr. Henneman, for standing up and admitting an error and working to ensure it doesn’t happen again. I was very impressed by your actions.

This is the kind of leadership we need on the Island County Board of Commissioners — someone who looks out for their constituents, day after day.
