Ground zero, as in 9-11? Let’s get a grip.

I hardly think an apparent mishap shooting in the parking lot of a night club warrants being deemed “ground zero.” Perhaps when terrorists attack Oak Harbor, heaven forbid, and we actually have a valid reason for dismay, we might use such a reference.

Until then, let’s realize that people are people and thus will make bad choices, in Oak Harbor, Seattle or NYC. I’m thankful for the club being open and hope it continues to bring some life to an otherwise stagnant town.
