I have worked in the Law & Justice community in Island County for almost 20 years. I have seen two different District Court judges, five different Superior Court Judges, and numerous judge pro-tems, court commissioners, and visiting judges. The amount of attorneys I have seen in action is almost scary, way too many to count.

I have seen Judge Churchill during dependency and criminal proceedings of all types. I have seen her with juvenile and adult offenders. Judge Churchill has the composure that needs to be shown by the bench. Her integrity, responsibility and dedication to the law are what makes her the best person for the position of Island County Superior Court Judge. I can say without reservation that Judge Churchill is as intelligent, compassionate and strict as they come. For every question presented, comes a thoughtful and legal ruling.

The knowledge gained in her years on the bench transferred to Drug Court, where Judge Churchill’s insight into people, along with her legal education and skill, leads her to render decisions that are fair, yet firm.

The expertise shown in Island County Superior Court is an example of our justice system at its best. Judge Churchill has all the necessary attributes needed in a judge and we are lucky to have her in Island County.
