Many thanks to Whidbey News-Times reporter Paul Boring and Dr. Schmidt, both people I do not know, for informing me, a military spouse with small children, about this “name change” of our ER at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor.

This is outrageous news and completely irresponsible for the military community to be notified in this manner. Pretty embarrassing we are the last to know. Obviously NAS Whidbey did not wish the people fighting for our country’s freedom to have any say in this matter to keep it so hush-hush. What a slap in our faces.
