Laughing at something sad

I just wanted to tell you what a great column you wrote in the Aug. 25 issue of the paper: “U.S. Congress finally tracks down its liar.” It makes one laugh at something that’s really sad, to think that our elected officials can’t see what they are doing to our country and their fellow man.

Laughing at something sad

I just wanted to tell you what a great column you wrote in the Aug. 25 issue of the paper: “U.S. Congress finally tracks down its liar.” It makes one laugh at something that’s really sad, to think that our elected officials can’t see what they are doing to our country and their fellow man.

I certainly hope all who read your column will stop and really think when it’s time to vote. May they come to see how important their vote is to turn our country back to law and order? Maybe your column is what will wake them up to vote for Congress men and women who will live by the law and enforce the laws we have now.
