I would first like to thank my family, friends and supporters for their tireless support of my city council campaign thus far. After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I have made the difficult decision to withdraw my candidacy for the Oak Harbor City Council Position 4.

Unfortunately, due to my increased responsibilities within Oak Harbor Public Schools, I am unable to commit to the necessary time that the city council requires. I will continue to support the youth of Oak Harbor and the greater Oak Harbor community in any capacity that I can.
