Dear Editor,

I want to congratulate all the candidates that won election in this cycle. As I said throughout this cycle, I did not believe there was a bad candidate in the bunch! So at least here in Oak Harbor we are set for success.

I also want to thank the candidates that did not win. Just running and being willing to put yourself out there puts you in the top 3% of our population. You too are great Americans. Like in every election there was contention and difference in opinions, but now we have to help those who won bring our American values and belief in our community to the next level. Once again, congratulations to you all.
