Letter: Foundation grateful for donations

Editor,

As the 2024-2025 school year begins, the Coupeville Foundation for Coupeville Public Schools looks forward to giving that extra measure of support to our students and staff. Scholarships help send students to higher education, grants to staff provide innovative projects, materials, field trips and more, and the Promise Fund provides for the needs of students. The Foundation could not provide this support without the generosity of our community.

We appreciate and recognize the local businesses who contribute to the foundation through our Shop-Out-4-Kids and Dine-Out-4-Kids fundraising events. Year after year, these businesses donate a portion of a day’s proceeds to the Foundation, giving to our schools.

Thank you Sunshine Drip, Madrona Blossom, Laughing Admiral, Little Red Hen Bakery, Aqua Gifts, Callen’s Restaurant, Touch of Dutch, Lavender Wind, Old Spots Bistro at Greenbank Farm, bayleaf, Kapaw’s Iskreme, Honey Bear and Front Street Grill.

And thank you to our community members for shopping and dining during these fundraising events. Look for the schedule for 2024-25 to help us give our students and staff that extra measure of support!
