Letter: Indivisible Whidbey is reorganizing

Editor,

I’m writing to thank all of you who have given your passionate energy to protecting our United States of America, with liberty and justice for all, and to invite you to join with like-minded activists.

In the past two months, as the administration ignores laws of governing and intentionally destabilizes our society, you have stood up. Whether it has been a conversation with a neighbor, organizing or attending a rally or meeting, writing a letter to your electeds — all of your actions matter. We give each other hope that we can end this nightmare.

I am excited to be a part of Indivisible Whidbey, which is currently reorganizing in order to bring us together in united action. We are starting now to plant seeds for a strong turnout in upcoming elections. We are participating with other local activist groups to protect and aid those who are targeted. We support those organizations and individuals who refuse to bend to harmful dictatorial orders. We’ll be hosting a meeting at 12-2 p.m., March 15 at the Coupeville United Methodist Church to move forward together. See www.indivisiblewhidbey.org for more information or check us out on Facebook. You are warmly invited to be a part of Indivisible Whidbey. We hope to see you soon.
