Letter: Lunatic asylum running nation under Trump

Editor:

In the late 15th century, the Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch painted a triptych depicting the Seven Deadly Sins, which he entitled “Ship of Fools.” Methinks that if Meneer Bosch were alive today he’d have used the current incompetent gaggle of Trump appointees as his models. Their latest shenanigans remind me of a delightful 1966 film, “King of Hearts,” in which the inmates of a lunatic asylum in a small French town escape and take over the running of the town. All of this would be humorous were it not serious enough to threaten the peace and stability, not only of our country, but also the world.
