Letter: Myres has vast experience in public works

Editor,

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Steven Myres as the best candidate for commissioner. Throughout his career, Steven has consistently demonstrated his unwavering commitment to supporting and promoting small businesses. His efforts to replace old buildings and construct new ones in the central business areas of Freeland and Clinton stand as a testament to his dedication to bringing more diverse business opportunities to the South End of Whidbey.

Steven’s decades-long successful experience in the public works sector is impressive. He has been instrumental in building schools, hospitals, ferry terminals and law enforcement facilities. This extensive background showcases his experience, knowledge and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and special interest groups.

As a community, we need a leader who not only understands the intricacies of public works but also prioritizes the growth and support of small businesses. Steven Myres embodies these qualities and more. His proven track record and vision for the future make him the ideal candidate for commissioner.

My vote is for the best candidate and that candidate is Steven Myres.
