Letter: Newspaper is not biased against Trump

Editor:

It’s ludicrous and beyond comprehension that anyone would accuse this publication of “left-wing propaganda” in your coverage of Trump. The accusation is baseless and patently untrue. Frequent readers of this paper will affirm that you go beyond the pale to present both sides of the political spectrum. To me, there are at least five contributors who come to mind. Especially, one whose letters are always so full of venomous gibberish, you only need to read the first sentence of his letter to recognize the writer.

The common thread that connects them is their fealty and undying devotion to the twice impeached, criminally convicted (34 counts), eternal grifting, sexual assaulting, pathological lying, narcissistic, sociopathic, Felon-in-Chief.

Then there is Elon Musk, Trump’s cohort of the so-called “DOGE,” who enjoys 38 million dollars in government subsidies and conflicts of interests, while also receiving 8 million tax payer dollars he receives everyday in his businesses.

Billions of dollars are being cut from Medicaid in order to finance $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for the rich. Farmers are on the chopping block. Jobs are being cut from the Veteran’s Administration and 6,000 veterans have been fired. Thousands of people are losing their jobs on a daily basis.

J.D. Vance once called Trump “America’s Hitler.” I would also add that Trump is America’s Putin. But we still have a government of the people, by the people and for the people no matter how hard and how fast Trump tries to destroy this country for his dreams of a dictatorship.

The 14 warning signs of fascism and Trump’s Project 2025 are being executed in tandem on a daily basis.

In his first term Trump spoke of the snake who turned on its master. Trump then told the nation, “You knew I was a snake.” And since this last election failed to eliminate him once and for all, Trump has slithered his way back into The White House. Every snake has two fangs.
