Hurray for your opinion piece in support of journalists holding local appointed officials accountable. Unfortunately precedent was established when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton destroyed 33,000 emails and used bleach bit and sledge hammers to destroy devices with information pertaining to an investigation of her corruption. There were no consequences and local officials now assume the same rules apply to them. Good luck with attempting reform.
