On Saturday, Oct. 18, the North Whidbey Lions Club collected peanut butter and jelly for our local Help House.

We want to thank manager Sherrie Sadighi and staff from Safeway and manager Mike Boice and staff from Saar’s Market Place for letting us use their facilities.

Also, the I.O.O.F Theta Rho Youth Group advisors, Judy Diekman and Mary Stewart, with special thanks to youth volunteers Angelique Robin and Cassie Flitcroft, who, at a young age, understand helping those in need.

We will be collecting canned goods early next year, so look for our yellow North Whidbey Lions Club vests for a chance to share in giving back to your community.
