I am writing this letter in support of Mac McDowell for re-election to his position as Island County commissioner.

I believe he represents the people of Island County fairly and responsibly. He has contributed greatly to the county’s sound fiscal condition.

During Mac’s tenure the county has either built or remodeled nearly all of their facilities. During this same time they have maintained one of the lowest tax rates in the state!

In this unstable economic time, I believe it is wise for the voters to keep a proven fiscal leader. He will be careful with our tax dollars and protect our county services.
