It appears Michael Monson is a bit upset again with the community of Oak Harbor trying to sustain itself.

Yes, Jets=Jobs and jobs=tax revenue, jobs=freedom and jobs=democracy. Jets=protecting your rights. We can go on.

Jets=noise, this is true. However, all of this was known when Mr. Monson purchased his property.

I would like to know where he gets his facts about Navy personnel preferring Anacortes.

What does that matter? They have the right to live where they choose.

The more Mr. Monson rants about the Navy, the more it appears he would like the Navy to leave Whidbey Island. Then we can say we have nothing — no Walmart, maybe one grocery store and very limited services because of a very limited tax base.

No sir, this isn’t about nothing. It is about everything.
