Dear Senator Haugen: You, as well as the other legislators in Olympia were elected to represent the people of Washington. The people have spoken several times ( I-960) asking you to be transparent and frugal. Instead, you insist on embracing wastefulness and living way beyond our means. The state budget rose by 35% in the last two years.

So what do you do? You spit in our face and tell us we’re a bunch of dummies and we don’t have a clue about anything. Now the Democrats have overruled the people by setting aside any limitation we might place on you through the initiative process and telling us that you know best. We assume the next step will be setting up an oligarchy. In case you haven’t noticed, on a national scale, the American people are FED UP! Does Scott Brown or Chris Christy ring a bell? Just maybe the voters of this state will wake up and clean up our legislature, that is hopefully before you take our vote totally away from us. We are looking forward to doing whatever we can to replace you as our Representative, because you don’t represent us!

We know this may come as a shock to you, but we’re in a huge recession and we don’t think it’s too bright of you in Olympia to be raising our taxes. Now that you’ve thrown us under the bus, how many times are going to roll over us? For whatever reason, when you go down to Olympia to govern, you don’t seem to take your common sense or the will of the people with you! SHAME ON YOU!
