Personal projection — The EA-18G Growlers will be reassigned to Lemoore Naval Air Station and Oceana Naval Air Station once the P8s begin arriving.

They will need the real estate as the footprint of a 737 is pretty big. Then, once and for all, the weenies who complain about the carrier-based aircraft doing flight carrier landing practices will be silenced — for a while, until they get a whiff of the P8 in the pattern.

Outlying Field Coupeville will be closed and returned to the state, as the P8’s — 737s — will not need it.
