I work for a company that received a phone call from a man with a heavy East Indian accent indicating that he was “David Foster” and needed to speak to the owner (by name) of this company.

He claimed there was a legal case filed against the owner. The caller said to tell the owner to call immediately.

I asked the caller for hours of operation of his establishment. He hesitated and said, “Just tell him to call me.”

I went online, reverse searched the number, looked at other website reviews and found it is a phone scam.
