I go to Oak Harbor Middle School and I have a concern for the school’s health system and mainly the bathrooms. I think that we should have toilet seat covers. Every time they tell on the news about new germs or sickness going around it always spreads fast at schools and some of them are easy to catch from bathrooms. We are supposed to wash our hands but I don’t think every student does that so that is something we need to teach more at schools on how important that is.

There are so many kids at my school who use the bathrooms a lot and that means a lot of kids sitting on the toilets. It would be better if when we used the toilets we would know we are sitting in a clean place. They have toilet seat covers in lots of public places; well, schools are public places so we should have them there also. If we used toilet seat covers that might help stop spreading germs and more of us would be at school than home sick.

Oh, and make sure the seat covers are safe for the environment because there are enough pollutions already in the waters. I hope important people are listening and can help with this. Thank you for your time. Oh, one more thing, I think teachers would want them in their bathrooms too!
