On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and students of the district, I want to extend sincere thanks to the voters of the district. Your support will allow us to continue Coupeville’s quality education for our students and provide needed upgrades in the area of technology. The change to the board elections should provide more opportunities for interested citizens to stand for election.

The Board and I also want to thank the citizen’s levy committee co-chairs Joanne Pelant, Deb Tasoff, and Donna Keeler for their efforts in promoting the election; Bev Chan for preparing a brochure promoting the election; Aleisha Mitten for coordinating letters to local papers; and Dawn Littlejohn of Branch Business Service for logistical support. Also deserving thanks is teacher Tacy Bigelow for helping to coordinate reminder calls to voters.

Our students are fortunate to have such a supportive community. We appreciate your trust and commitment and strive daily to fulfill your expectations for our children’s education.
