This letter to the editor is a letter of thanks to the community of Oak Harbor. Please extend a thank you to all who voted, “Yes for Schools!” Also, I would like to extend a personal thanks to the many area businesses who displayed, “Yes for Schools” signs on their business properties.

As an elementary teacher I am extremely glad that our students will be able to enjoy the support services, P.E. instructors, art teachers, and countless other benefits the levy dollars will provide our students in the years ahead.
