Time to vote Democrats out

Acting with characteristic arrogance, Democrats like Mary Margaret Haugen in the state legislature recently decided in the dead of night to set aside portions of Initiative 960 that made it too inconvenient for them to raise your taxes. Then, discovering that in their incompetence (another key Democrat characteristic) they had not thrown out enough of the voters’ wishes, they had to pass another version of the law to overturn more of the will of the people.

Then, discovering that in their incompetence (another key Democrat characteristic) they had not thrown out enough of the voters’ wishes, they had to pass another version of the law to overturn more of the will of the people.

Can there be any clearer indication that Democrats, having only one play in their playbook, have decided that the way to solve the budget problems their irresponsible liberal policies have caused is to raise your taxes? Never mind the impact to your budget in the midst of a recession that began after Democrats took control of Congress, and deepened after Americans foolishly elected a Democrat to the White House that these taxes will cause. As a result of this disregard of the initiative process, what little money you have left after the ravages of this Democrat recession will go into the rapacious grasp of Democrats in Olympia.

The time has come to remind Democrats at all levels for whom they work, and to remind them of the cost of ignoring the will of the people. In just 10 months, voters will have the opportunity to express their will again. Since the Democrats refuse to be bound by voter initiatives, voters must be sure to cast their votes to fire every Democrat up for election — whether that Democrat’s name is Mary Margaret Haugen, Rick Larsen, Patty Murray or John Dean. It is time to remind the Democratic Party what Democracy is all about.
