To the Island County voters so fixated they voted for anyone with an “R” by their name: I hope you haven’t stuck us with a new commissioner so self-centered and ignorant of proper procedures that she is suing the county she wants to lead (“Emerson sues Dean over flyer in Island County election,” Whidbey News-Times, Nov. 6).

Way to go Republicans.
