The workshops raise  scholarship funds for young writers.

“What Would Steinbeck Do?” offers writing exercises based on the work and words of master writers.Writers should bring a page of their writing to use as a starting point.

Workshop fee is $48. Pre-registration and payment in advance are required; contact Cook at jazzcookie@frontier.com or 678-3042.

In April, Cook will continue with “Zen and the Art of Writing.”
