Hedgebrook and Whidbey Island Center for the Arts present “An Evening with Seattle Writers” as part of their Literary Series at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, 565 Camano Ave., Langley, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16.
An Evening with Seattle Writers is described as a great opportunity to meet best-selling authors, hear their work be brought to life by local talent and connect with Hedgebrook Women’s Writers Retreat.
Anyone who loves books, writers and great stories won’t want to miss An Evening with Seattle Writers with Erica Bauermeister, Jennie Shortridge and Carol Cassella.
Throughout the evening the authors will read from their books and local actors will perform scenes from them. Hedgebrook Executive Director Amy Wheeler will moderate a lively discussion with all the writers about their work, their writing processes, career trajectories and new works on the horizon. A short question period with the audience will follow.
Langley’s Moonraker Books will sell several titles of each author’s books in the lobby and the authors will be available for signing.
