At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, the Bells will perform at St. Stephens Episcopal

The Bells of Whidbey jingle with the festive sound of Santa’s sleigh.

At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, the Bells will perform at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, located at 555 Southeast Regatta Drive in Oak Harbor.

Community members of all ages can sing along with the Bells’ 13 ringers, who will play classics such as “Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire!” and a rollicking, frolicking version of “Jingle Bells” with an arsenal of handbells and handchimes.

The concert is directed by Cheryl Waide, and will feature vocalist David Howell as well as Musician JR Russell and Jean Wieman, executive secretary of North Whidbey Help House.

Admission is by donations, either monetary or canned food, and proceeds will benefit the North Whidbey Help House as part of the Bells’ commitment to help local charities with its two yearly events in the winter and in the spring.
