Johnny Bulldog helps Central Whidbey Hearts and Hammers with concert

The four professional musicians that make up Johnny Bulldog are usually on the road in various other bands and serious day jobs. When, on rare occasion, they are all back home on Whidbey at the same time they are known to rip it up to benefit a favorite cause and get friends and neighbors out on the dance floor, like at their upcoming benefit concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Head to the Oak Harbor Elks Club, located at 155 Ernst St., for this benefit concert for Central Whidbey Hearts and Hammers.

John Tristao, lead singer for world touring Credence Clearwater Revisited, plays bass and is front man for Johnny Bulldog. Kevin Johnson shreds a mighty lead guitar when he is not traveling the country as a television sound man.

Marcus Whiting, on piano, is an in-demand keyboard session musician. Larry Mason, on drums, fronts two other bands on the local scene.
