This this heart-warming evening of words and music celebrates the yuletide season. The magic of harps, the sparkle of the flute, the rich tapestry of strings, along with enchanting poems and storytelling, all wrapped into a beautiful, irresistible Christmas package.

You’ll hear familiar carols from around the world such as “Good King Wenceslas,” “Fum, Fum, Fum” and “Ding Dong Merrily on High” as well as the tender melodies of “As Lately We Watched” and “O Holy Night.”

Also featured this season will be Benjamin Britten’s richly dramatic “Ceremony of Carols.” This unique tapestry for the senses, the interweaving of music and the spoken word, is sure to be a highlight of your Christmas season, and makes a perfect holiday gift for friends and family.

Oak Harbor flutist Kimberley Breilein is joined by prominent Northwest harpists Jill Whitman, Amy Muia and Emilie Whitman on concert harps. Violinists Grant Donnellan and Gaye Davis, violist Elizabeth Stuen-Walker, cellist Chip Bergeron and percussionist Kay Reilly round out this exceptional Celtic and Classical touring ensemble.

Rosemary Scott Vohs entertains with poems and storytelling.

Also included in NOEL’s 2009 tour will be Lynden, Mount Vernon, Lynwood, Blaine and Bellingham. Visit www.noelharp.com for complete tour information, or call 360-929-2744.
