The Santa Cruz de Mayo, usually held the entire month of May in the Philippines, involves a fiesta, flowers and the Virgin Mary. Instead of parading statues of saints, as done in other processions, townspeople wear costumes to represent different characters of the Bible. He is an award-winning teacher and researcher, has worked with Adobe, Google, Electronic Arts, and Walt Disney Imagineering, and pioneered the Alice Project. He lives in Virginia with his wife, Jai (pronounced “Jay”) and their three children, ages 6, 4 and 2.
