Thursday evenings, Dec. 1, 8 and 15, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., all are welcome to participate in an Advent program held at St. Augustine’s-in-the-Woods Episcopal Church, Honeymoon Bay Road, Freeland. Evenings will begin with a light supper of soup, salad and bread followed by teaching and discussion led by Rev. Dr. William Seth Adams as he helps participants look at the church’s practice of praying over bread and wine from very early times.
