“My family is rooted in Coupeville as much as it is in Freeland,” says Peters. Having a daughter who attends Coupeville High School and will be a graduating Senior in the fall and having volunteered many hours with Central Whidbey Little League, and a new member with the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce, Peters considers it an extension of her hometown.
