4 Coupeville players chosen for feeder game | Baseball

The Coupeville High School baseball team will be represented by four players at the district all-star feeder game Wednesday, June 3, at Bellingham's Joe Martin Stadium.

The Coupeville High School baseball team will be represented by four players at the district all-star feeder game Wednesday, June 3, at Bellingham’s Joe Martin Stadium.

Josh Bayne, Kyle Bodamer, Aaron Curtin and Aaron Trumbull will take part in the 5 p.m. double header for the area’s best 1B, 2B and 1A senior ballplayers.

Based upon their performances in the game, their seasons and their careers, three to seven players will be nominated for the all-state series.

The state committee will pick from all the nomination lists from all of state’s feeder games to determine the all-state teams.

Coupeville’s Ben Etzell was selected in 2014.
