Island County Commissioners and members of Island County Council of Governments are accepting applications for the Rural County Economic Development Funds until Sept. 30.

The funds are available to finance public facilities that promote economic development in rural counties and finance personnel in economic development offices.

Proposals will be accepted from the Governing Boards of Island County, the Town of Coupeville, City of Oak Harbor, City of Langley or port districts within Island County,.
