The following incidents were reported to the Oak Harbor Police Department:
Thursday, March 21
At 8:23 a.m., a caller reported that four cars were spray painted on Northeast First Avenue.
At 9:20 a.m., graffiti was reported on Northwest Second Avenue.
At 2:41 p.m., a caller reported that a man was saying strange things and wandering around a parking lot on Pioneer. An hour later, a caller reported that a man was laying on the ground and screaming.
Saturday, March 23
At 7:53 p.m., a caller on Highway 20 reported that a subject was in the lobby was covering ears and “shrieking quietly.”
Sunday, March 24
At 12:12 p.m., a driver reported that another driver wouldn’t move out of the way on Northeast Seventh Avenue. The caller said the other driver got out and threatened to kill him, saying he’s killed all kinds of people.
At 2:18 p.m., a Southwest Second Avenue resident reported that a 11-year-old child was babysitting younger siblings when unknown men came to the door, asking questions about vents and how to get into the house. The men went into the backyard and took photos of the house.
Monday, March 25
At 2:51 p.m., a caller reported that a woman who looked like a man had a large stick and was yelling at cars on Pioneer Way.
At 2:51 p.m., a Northeast Seventh Avenue resident reported that her boyfriend punched holes in her walls and broke glass.
At 5:08 p.m., a caller reported that an intoxicated man fell down at the playground in Windjammer Park and “decided to stay laying down.”
At 9:28 p.m., a caller reported that a couple of drunk guys were drinking outside the entrance of a Highway 20 business. One of them asked the assistant manager to “flash” them.
Tuesday, March 26
At 11:04 a.m., a caller reported finding a knife in the bushes while setting up for an Easter egg hunt.
Wednesday, March 27
At 2:59 p.m., a caller on Pioneer Way reported that a man tried to break into a business and then laid down on a bench outside.
Friday, March 29
At 8:16 a.m., a Dock Street resident reported receiving a death threat in the mail.
At 9:29 a.m., a Southwest Second Avenue resident reported that a family of raccoons were under her deck.
At 9:49 a.m., a caller reported that his pastor raised his voice and yelled at him on Swantown Avenue.
At 11:46 a.m., a resident reported having a problem with a person living in a tool shed on Bayshore Drive.
At 12:23 p.m., there was a reported of a suspicious person “roaming” in Sumner Drive area.
Saturday, March 30
At 1:27 p.m., a resident reported that he was robbed in Thailand and all his person information was also taken.
Friday, April 1
At 2:52 a.m., a caller reported that a man was taking his clothes off at Walmart and would not leave.
At 7:59 a.m., there was a report of someone sleeping on the side of building on the highway.
At 9:45 a.m., a caller reported that a man was slapping himself on Barrington Drive.
At 10:58 p.m., a resident reported that a transient was camping at the entrance to Freund Marsh.
Saturday, April 2
At 2:34 a.m., a Northeast Eighth Avenue resident reported that a large group of men were wrestling, drinking and making noise.
At 6:29 a.m., there was a report of transients sleeping under trees near the highway.
At 1:06 p.m., a caller reported that a man was lying down and praying on Southwest Barrington Drive.
At 1:50 p.m., a caller reported that someone dressed in black was urinating on Southwest Barlow Street.
At 9:45 p.m., there was a report of seven cars street racing on Swantown Avenue.
At 10:14 p.m., a Northwest Sixth Avenue resident reported that someone knocked on the door, but nobody was there when she opened it.
