Patty Briseno of Oak Harbor won a drawing for a disaster kit for pets valued at $100 at a raffle held at Whidbey Island Bank in April.
It included food, a blanket, a water filtration kit and a leash.
The gift was from Summit Assistance Dogs, a nonprofit with property in North Whidbey, founded 15 years ago to meet the demand for skilled dogs.
Summit selects and trains dogs to assist with tasks that allow their people partners to lead lives of greater independence.
These tasks might include retrieving dropped objects, opening and closing doors, turning lights on and off or retrieving an emergency telephone.
Whidbey Island Bank chose Summit Assistance Dogs as its business of the month for April.
