The following incidents were reported to the Oak Harbor Police Department:
Friday, April 8
At 3:17 p.m., a woman on Crosby Avenue said that her husband was out of control. The husband called and said his wife punched him in the eye.
At 5:33 p.m., a caller on Northeast Goldie Street reported that his landlord is an “irate weirdo” who is evicting him illegally and changed the locks before the caller got his property out.
At 5:54 p.m., a Southwest 12th Court resident reported that a female stalker was using the caller’s identity online.
At 7:10 p.m., a Northeast Goldie Street resident reported finding what looks like “a child’s grave” in a field. The caller said there was a new stroller, formula and diapers in an area that was freshly dug up.
Saturday, April 9
At 1:19 p.m., a caller reported that a bearded man along the highway was carrying a large backpack and screaming that it is full of explosives and everyone is going to die. He was joined by a shirtless man with a guitar.
At 7:33 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a trench coat was “ranting and raving” about hearing voices on Midway Boulevard.
Sunday, April 10
At 2:47 p.m., a caller said that an otter went under a building on Dock Street.
Monday, April 11
At 12:41 p.m., a caller on Northeast Goldie Street reported that a computer monitor was sitting under a tree.
At 12:55 p.m., there was a report that a subject took up residence in the parking lot of the marina.
At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported that a man was exposing himself to people on Pioneer Way.
At 6:50 p.m., a driver reported that a suspicious man was hiding behind a post near the highway.
Tuesday, April 12
At 9:38 a.m., a woman reported that someone in her church was running around, calling everyone “mental.”
At 2:53 p.m., a Ireland Street resident reported that a suspicious man was talking about people stealing his patents.
At 4:10 p.m., a Eighth Avenue resident reported that people are stealing chickens and killing them.
At 5:38 p.m., a woman reported finding a hip bone on the beach. It turned out to be an animal bone.
At 6:43 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious man was acting like he was planting plants on City Beach Street.
Wednesday, April 13
At 6:57 a.m., a caller reported that a possum was injured and walking in circles on Southwest 24th Avenue.
At 9:17 a.m., a caller reported that a homeless man was beating up a woman on Midway Boulevard.
Thursday, April 14
At 1:23 p.m., a Bayshore Drive resident reported the theft of a totem pole.
At 3:19 p.m., a Northeast Izett Street resident reported that a neighbor was poisoning her through a hole in the wall.
Friday, April 15
At 9:11 a.m., a caller reported finding a pet bunny in a parking lot on Glencoe Street.
At 9:59 a.m., a Northwest Crosby Avenue resident reported that a coyote attacked a cat. The caller asked for a call if any cat parts are found so the family can have closure.
