Saturday, July 31

At 11:11 a.m., a resident reported that a loose cow was walking on Newell Drive.

At 10:51 p.m., a caller from another state reported that there was a shooting and the judge determined that the cause of death was “hard of hearing.”

Sunday, Aug. 1

At 12:06 a.m., a caller near the Coupeville Ferry reported that men, women and babies were surrounding his motorhome and refused to let him leave.

At 8:21 a.m., a caller reported that his wife’s feet are turning purple and the gardener is in the hospital, but the butler is OK.

At 5:03 p.m., an East Frostad Road resident reported that an injured hawk was in the yard.

Monday, Aug. 2

At 9:23 a.m., a resident reported that someone broke into a home on Seacliff Lane while the owner was in assisted living.

At 2:55 p.m., a Sparrow Drive resident reported that someone broke into her house and stole her Maine coon kitty.

At 7:23 p.m., a caller from another state reported that the judges don’t have the sense of a horseshoe.

Tuesday, Aug. 3

At 11:37 a.m., a resident reported that a South Whidbey resident may have lit her own house on fire after taking out additional fire insurance.

At 11:56 a.m., a caller reported that women living with a sex offender on Sunrise Park Way had disappeared.

At 1:20 p.m., a driver reported that a woman was standing on the side of Highway 20 in Coupeville and hitting vehicles with her cane.

Wednesday, Aug. 4

At 11:15 a.m., a caller reported that pet lizards and snakes were not being cared for properly at a Highway 525 home.

At 8:29 p.m., a Goss Lake Road resident reported that invisible people have motors in the sky to follow her.

Thursday, Aug. 5

At 7:55 a.m., a Trisha Lane resident reported that a red 1990s Toyota pickup was stolen. A neighbor later called and said he had video of the truck being stolen.

At 11:37 a.m., a resident on Howard Road said that a homeless man was screaming and throwing stuff at the building.

At 11:41 a.m., a caller reported that a homeless man was walking in the middle of Parker Road.

At 2:37 p.m., a woman reported that she bought a car and it immediately died at the Clinton ferry terminal.

At 4:52 p.m., a Goss Lake Road resident asked for air support to help with the invisible people.

At 11:09 p.m., a driver said that a man wearing a tarp was walking around in circles on Highway 20 near Libbey Road.

Friday, Aug. 6

At 9:08 a.m., a caller on Saratoga Road reported that a man was burning weeds on the side of the road with a torch.

At 11:28 p.m., a caller reported people were burning construction debris next to a house under construction on West Beach Road.

At 12:51 p.m., a Heller Road resident reported that her ex was stalking her.

At 2:14 p.m., there was a report that a goat was loose on Hunt Road.

At 3:45 p.m., a caller asked for the status of a missing parakeet.

At 5:41 p.m., a Northeast Lindsay Street resident reported that items were missing and feces was found on the porch.

At 9:13 p.m., a caller reported smoking pot with a friend on East Harbor Road when the friend “pulled out something a little stronger.”

Saturday, Aug. 7

At 11:28 a.m., a Greenbank resident reported that someone called and said, “You’re gonna die.”

At 6:39 p.m., a caller reported that the entrance to a construction business on Hoffman Road was open and the chain cut. A red truck was abandoned at the site.

At 22:10 p.m., a resident reported that the sound of drums was coming from a vacant property on Saratoga Road.
